Thank you for visiting our website! Before you continue to read on, take a look at our 'About Us' page to get a better understanding of who we are and what we do at The Health Equity Project.

COVID-19 has exposed us all to the power of media and information. We are being bombarded with news and social media posts from all angles. In the midst of all this, it is important to make sure that we expose ourselves to honest, reliable, and unbiased news sources. Misinformation is at the core of many of our greatest challenges that we must overcome. To promote transparency and reliability, our website aims to create concise, engaging, and honest articles sourced from verifiable news references, and peer-reviewed research. We hope that our articles will be able to inform you on various topics on healthcare systems, policies, and practices.

Why does it matter?

As our communities becomes more polarized, our understanding and awareness of various social/public issues become biased. To combat this, our page aims to make verification and sourcing common practice post COVID-19 for all forms of digital media. We want to give you accurate information and statistics to join the global discussion on pressing topics such as the refugee crisis, domestic violence, youths in the criminal system, reproductive rights...etc.

What can you do?

Subscribe to our page and stay up to date on future posts! As a newly formed website, we are in the final stages of reviewing and editing our content. In the meantime, feel free to leave a message below if you want us to discuss future topics that you feel strongly about.
